The drawings were created by me, Raoul Borges. I had difficulty in
describing my character, and needed to get back to drawing, so...
Anyway, cath's appearance became the focus of some of my friends,
whose characters knew mine.

Pose...
This drawing is obviously incomplete, as I believed I could easily
add the colors with any software. This was not so, and so it remained
in this state.
First, I had the idea of the position, position which was
materialized in the ''skeleton'' in the down part of this second
drawing. To put some flesh on it was easy, but I realized after that
I was wrong somewhere. When I started once more, I made the third
drawing, and believed it would be final, but I had drawn it too small!
I used the ''square method'' to report it in a greater scale, and
so had the first drawing you saw before. In the end, the drawing
seems cool, even if the black dress give Cath a false appearance
of the silhouette. Just by comparing the last drawing with the
final version, you will see everything was done quite right, but
still, something bothers me...

Entrée
This drawing was made in little time. In a Vampire tabletop,
this position came to my mind, and soon after getting back home,
I used pencils to add colors. Too late I realized that the arms
were too long!
Another problem lies, perhaps, with her leg which suffer from a
strange orientation. I know Cath is double-jointed, but not to
this point. Too bad! Everything else in her body was (to me, at
least) perfect, even if muscles were too much apparent, and
that she appeared to be sweating.

Le Baiser
While this one have some imperfections, I like the overall design.
Still obsessed with the Black Widow
Bloodline, I searched for a design that would seduce the witness...
until he would notice the black widow caressing Cath's lips, almost
entering in her mouth.
This drawing has some effects on my friends. My
brother, whose
arachnophobia is even greated than mine was revulsed. My friends
were middly revulsed by it, and surprised to see me express this
without inducing in my phobia.
This drawing was made at school, where I was working in my civil
national service (i.e.: the army!). It is dedicated to Francine,
Jean Marc and Patricia, as well as my friends who worked with me
and supported me when everything was not so good, Athanasios,
Cedric, Fred(erique!), Jean Jacques, Lionel and everyone else
whose name eludes me (it's 11pm, you know...).

Death Caress
This drawing is old. I was still searching for some (cheap) way
to colorize my drawings. I tried a 4 color inks combination:
Black, Dark Blue, Cyan and Red.
The drawing was better proportionned when first drawn, but I tried
to enhance her feminine curves by ''shadowing'' with Black. It was
a mild failure, so to speak. Anyway, this drawing's aim was to
illustrate one of the deadliest attacks of the
Black Widows: Death Caress...

Fashion Huntress
This drawing was made while inspired by a model photography.
Because of the successful drawing, as well as the complex
desgin, this drawing serves as illustration by default of my
character sheet.
If I could change the blackened silver ankh necklace and the
earrings, I would do it. But it's too late. I like the design
of the bra (roses & thorns).

Offerte
This drawing was made while playing Call of Cthullu. I was
middly bored, more by the mood of the game than the ability of
the gamemaster.
I never continued the drawing because I was affraid of decreasing
the ''perfection'' I saw in it. I'm not a ''professional'' drawer,
and most drawings I make are flawed in some way, and only by chance
(and patience, I lack both!) I succeed in doing something acceptable.
This is one of those ''acceptable'' drawings. I wonder about the
possibility of colorizing it by using software instead of physical
pencils...

Deuil
This drawing is quasi-perfect: Cath has a silhouette whose curves
are almost irrealistic in an anatomical view, but whose aesthetism
can't be denied.
I have yet to continue it. Note that the head was flawed, and
was drawn again. While not perfect, the face is much better now.
|

Instantané
Aaaargh!
I don't like this drawing. I did it in haste, and hid the flaws
I didn't have the patience to remove by giving her a large
leather jacket. Still, the flaws are plainly visible, if only
in the face. Err... At least, the Ankh necklace appears normal...

La Veuve Noire
My prefered drawing!
I had the idea, and did some sketchs, but needed to know how to
draw her right arm. So I asked my fiancée, Linda,
to pose as a model for me. So I corrected every curve, giving
them realistic proportions, all the while enhancing their
supernatural ''air'' by removing some anatomical curves.
I concentrated my attention to the face, who had to be perfect,
and to the back: I had to draw every major muscle (the others
had to be softened, for the ''supernatural air'') and have a
good idea of their 3D proportions. Then I drew the Black Widow
tattoo on it, curving its body to give it realism (No, I didn't
draw a black widow on the back of my girlfriend!)
Note that the tatto was of lesser size in the sketch. At first,
Cath was to have a small tattoo on her shoulder. This drawing
was a try, but when I saw the large tattoo, I found it so cool
I decided Cath would have this tattoo. So Cath is now on the
frontpage of the Bloodlinebook: Black
Widow.

Lady of Shadows
This drawing was made while playing Vampire. I don't recall
the exact time. Still, despite the technics were not well
researched, this drawing, in part inspired by the Lasombra
image of the Vampire: The Masquerade, Revised Edition,
is well done. I like it.
I dedicace this drawing to Julien ''Le Serrurier'' C.,
who always was my greatest fan (at least, my drawing's fan!),
and for whom I never found the time to make a full drawing,
just for him!

Forgotten Drawing
Why forgotten? I discovered this drawing some weeks ago
while rumaging in by old things. I like it as I believe
(if I neglect some details) it to be almost perfectly
proportionned.
