Background:

                    Emeline was Embraced in southern France by a Toreador who fell in love with her. The problem is that while she was charming, she was quite plain, in an artistic viewpoint. When the passion eventually disappeared, Charles Eric saw his mistake, and saw how the other Toreador were smiling at him. Embarassed, Charles Eric searched a way to get rid of her.

Emeline was then sent to Paris as a messenger, and abandonned by her Sire, soon fell in love with another Toreador, who arranged to have her permanently accepted in Paris. He died soon after, letting her once more alone.

But Emeline, even if she was hurt by this behaviour, was now in Paris, The City of the Toreador.

She decided to use her new standing as parisian vampire to become someone. The problem is that she is seen as a provinciale by the other Toreador, who don't take seriously this Neonate.

Marlène, who saw how vulnerable she was, took her under her 'protection', and openly socialize with her, which had the effect of increasing her standing among the Toreador.

Of course, Emeline is quite grateful...

                    Emeline is a beautiful woman with brown hair and awing cyan eyes.

Emeline likes to wear long, sofisticated dresses.

She's always dressed for the situation, and most of the time, all male stares converge to her. She is gracious, moves in fluid motions that would be mistakenly called ''feline'' grace. The truth is that Elle is working on her appearance and style since (and even before) her Embrace. Her grace is simply Feminine, with a capital F.

Role Playing:

                    Seeing Elle is like looking a movie in slow motion. Every movement is graceful, and every epression of her lovely feature is worthy of a photography, painting or sculpting. She works on this illusion, and enhance its effects with her soft voice. If a Parisian Kindred must be called ''siren'', then Elle is this ''Siren''.

She always talk without contempt to others, even when using ''Esprit'' and ridiculizing him. She is seen as a poseur, and as it is part of her chosen art, she accepts it and likes to appear as such. But she knows she is deadly.

She likes to act as a careless young when with Neonates and Ancillae, but most Elders knows it is a façade and still wonders the amount of influence she has over Villon...

And she likes it...

Notes:

                    ''Elle'' is the french word for ''She'', and this name, chosen by Villon for her is really adapted, as she is for most (Toreador) Kindred the incarnation of desire. She knows how to use and combine her Dementation and Mytherceria Disciplines to enhance her already high seduction power...

Her ''Blasée'' Merit (see Clanbook: Toreador) immunizes her to Presence powers. The Blood Bond she felt for Villon is now weakened by the centuries (She is now considered Bonded at 1/3). She still have a phobia of water, like lakes, rivers, swimming pools (i.e.: anything greater than a bath tub) from the time she was alive and risked drowning in Versailles' lake. She still doesn't know how to swim (and will probably never learn).

She is believed to have been Arnaud's lover before the 1789 Revolution, and is the secret muse of more than one Kindred, most of them, Toreador. But she is still single. Villon's interest for her changed from pure love to the affection a proud father can feel for his beloved daughter.

She has no Elder Status because no one knows the game she's really playing, but should she be discovered, it would raise up to 1 or 2.

She has been the second Elder (the first being Arnaud) to feel the effects of the new appearance of Catherine. While she is feels attracted to her in a physical sense, she keeps the control of herself. Still, Cath's curious mentality fascinates the Toreador...

Actual Aim:

                    Elle discovered foreign influence within parisian mortal institutions. She is working hard to find to remove the corrupted administratives. Her suspicions leads her to think St Just is perhaps the one behind it, but she has still difficulties to believe it. Labienus is another possibility as he is known to have some contacts within the french army, despite Villon's interdiction of such powerbase building.

Nonetheless, she was behind the changes within the SDECE which became soon after the DGSE

Rumours:

• Elle is a Poseur (False: Her Art is very particular, indeed).
• Elle had violent and passionnate love affair with most of the Parisian Elders (False: While she had some love affairs, she select carefully her lovers).
• Elle had a short and very passinate affair with Arnaud.
• Elle is Sabbat, and has Villon Blood Bonded to her (False!).
• Elle is the true power behind the three official lieutenants: Alexis, Ivan and Lazlo (Partially True: She is the secret Fourth Lieutenant...)
• Elle's intrigues killed indirectly more than three Elders (True! She is the one who repeat that the Ridicule can kill!).
• She only need to speak a word, and half the Clan would side with her and make her their Duchesse (True: Most of The Beautés and Poseurs would, if someone talked to them about it, support Elle's claim to a title of Duchesse

                    This power duplicate the effects of the Blond Bond for a limited time.

Presence ***** ** : Siren's Guardians

                    Elle is able to use her Presence to make others take care of her, and even protect her if she is in danger. Because of the high level of this power, non-Awakened or semi-Awakened (Sorcerers, Kinfolks Ghouls(!), etc.) mortals can't resist the lure of this power. Others can use their Willpower to resist, through, unless they were Frenzying (or hate Elle beyond reason!).

                    System: Manipulation+Subterfuge, Diff:6
Each successes raise the number of persons affected. This power can't be directed, but non-Awakened persons will be affected first, then semi-Awakened persons, then Awakened creatures.

Fully Awakened Creatures can use 1 Willpower point per success to resist the power. They are, then, unaffected by this power for the story.
The effects depends greatly on the type of person affected. Thus, the successes needed to attain such or such effect can be decreased (never increased): Bullies probably will attack Elle's defender at 4 or 3 successes only! While a bodyguard would keep cool and still need 5 successes to lose his temper and attack the offender, one success would be enough to sand up in defense, whatever the situation (This situation already happened: The drunken star movie was surprised to see his own bodyguards turn against him when he threatened to strike Elle because she refused his compagny!)
