HISTORY
The History of Egypt is well documented by mythos who have all in common the fact that they vary greatly. The Clanbook: Setites, the World of Darkness: Mummy and the World of Darknee: Mummy 2nd Edition have a different version of the myth. Even original Egyptian history could vary. you will find there stories particular to Uræus: Gods of Egypt.

THE CREATION OF THE WORLD:
''Caine? This mythical Caine make me laugh... I once believed only mortals could believe such ridiculous religious dogma, but I had to reconsider: Vampires are as much victim of this as are the Kine... Let me tell you how the world was created...''
The Creation:
In the begining, there was nothing but four primordial principles that were all the components of the primordial universe. Each principle was divided in two symetric parts: The Male and the Female. Nun and Nunet were the male and female Primordial Ocean of Chaos, Kek and Keket, the male and female Darkness, Hehu and Hehet, the male and female infinity, and Amon and Amonet, the male and female principles of mystery. While it is believed multiple gods were born from the nothingness, one of them dreamed of creation.
It was the age of Gods, who roamed creation to further their own agendas. Among them, some dreamed of a kingdom whose power and enlightment would shine even among the creation.
Ra was kheperu, which means that he could have various and mutliple incarnations and avatars. The morning, the God was Khepri, the Rising Sun. The day, he was Ra, the Sun in All its Glory. The evening, he was Atum, the Setting Sun. Ra had power over magic, and the sun was at his command, and as a God, he ruled the Land, councelled by the Principles of Maat, and soon followed by other primordial Gods, like Ptah, or even the mysterious Amon.
Ra's power enabled him to create life itself, but unlike him, he wanted this life's power would be lesser. From his tears he created Humanity, and from his Magic, he created Shu, the Breath (of life) and Tefnut (the Moisture), his son and daughter. But if Ra was eternal and all-powerful, Shu and Tefnut were but immortal children of the God. But they could, as such, bear their own children, and so, were born Geb and Nut, being the avatars of the Earth and the Sky.
But Ra's challenges were numbers. Half the time, he had to explore the nothingness beyond the borders of creation to find and fight those who, within the nothingness, were hidden ans waiting to strike Ra's creation. And among them Apep, the Great Corrupter.
Ra, fearing for Maat, the Balance, asked that no other gods should be created. To insure this, he decided that Tefnut and Nut would not be able to give life to children in any day of the year. But Geb and Nut loved each other, and in their passion, Nut became pregnant. In pain, she had conceived in her womb five gods, but she couldn't give them life because of Ra's interdiction.
The Creation of the Lesser Gods:
But from the Garden of Ptah, another Primordial God, came Thot, the magician. His power was great, but lesser than Ra's one, and Thot served faithfully his God, Ra. Seeing the despair of Geb and Nut, who was pregnant and in pain for her children were blocked in her womb. So Thot used his own power over the moon to syphon its light and to create new five days, out of the cycle of Ra. And each new day, Nut gave birth to one child, in order: Isis, Osiris, Set, Nephtys and Horus the Elder.
Ra's anger knew no limit!
By tinkering with his creation, Thot threatened all the creation: The moon's light was now dark, half the time, and the calendar, with 36 decades of 10 days, was now unbalanced with 5 new days. Angered to madness, Ra decided to restore the balance: Shu was sacrified to the air. Tefnut to the water. Geb to the earth and Nut to the sky. Thot was ritually sacrified to the magic. Thus, each god, through immortal, were exiled into the form of their element. And even the mortals were not safe from Ra's anger, for, under the rule of Geb, they succumbed to the bloodlust of Sekhmet, Kheperu of Ra's Anger.
Never the children of Geb and Nut discovered the truth. Thus Oriris, Isis, Set, Nephtys and Horus the Elder took the seat of the fallen Gods, swearing fealty to their Great-Grand-Father and God, Ra. Osiris was a sage, who would rule Humanity. Isis and Nephtys were both magicians, Set was proud warrior, who protected Ra from Apep when Ra went beyond the borders of creation, each night. And Horus the Elder was a judge.
But Maat could not be denied long, for then, creation would cease to exist, and Horus discovered the Truth. When he confronted Ra the Mad God, Ra simply destroyed the Falcon God and exiled him to the Death. Set, understanding his God's evil, succumbed to his own godly passion and attacked Ra. But Ra's power were not to be challenged, even by one of his Great-Grand-Children, and Set was exiled to the Desert, thus enhancing his own power.
Apep had succeeded, for now Ra was almost fully corrupted, and the even the sunlight gleamed with unholy light. When Ra turned to his remaining children, Osiris, Isis and Nephtys sweared once more their allegiance. But in secret, they searched to understand.
Osiris knew the immortal shell of Ra was to be destroyed, lest the immortal sun be corrupted, too, as has been its mortal avatar. Isis found the way: She tricked Ra in teaching her True Magic, Ra Hekau, by learning his Ren, his True Name, and then with the help of Nephtys, destroyed the corrupted shell of Ra.
Osiris Seizes over the Power of Darkness:
They were now alone. Gods among Humanity. Osiris sent for news of other Gods, for he believed they had to exist. Ptah, who was believed to have created Thot, had disappeared, and no other God answered... Until the Stranger came.
Osiris then learned of other fallen Gods, and learned of the tyranny of others. His powers were nothing to them. Isis and Nephtys were Godesses who had power over True Magick, but he himself was but a sage. Set the red-haired warrior was dead. So Osiris tricked the Stranger. The Stranger's power could be shared, and the Stranger hoped Osiris' own power could be too. So the Stranger offered Osiris the power of Night Magic, but the price was great, as Osiris lost his power over day.
Thus, the God Osiris became one of Childer of Caine, Damned by Yaveh and Beloved of Lillith, Gods of foreign lands.
And too soon he understood: As Ra had been before him, he had been corrupted by Apep, through the power of another: He was easy prey to Sekhmet, and soon, the other gods feared his anger. But even the powers of Darkness could not remove Osiris of his Divine Rights, and the God of Fertility conceived, through his own compassion, the Love of Isis, and the Death Magick of Nephtys, a Son.
And Set came back.
At first Osiris and Set were delighted to see each other. And the Lands rejoiced of the meeting of the two Gods, the Wise and the Warrior, each with powers over darkness. Set understood Osiris' choice, and Osiris explained the corruption of Ra's body, and how, while its death prevented Ra from joining them, he was now free of the taint of Apep, as long as his healing light would shine in the sky.
But soon, Sekhmet claimed the soul of the two Kings. Osiris claimed to rule Higher Land, the Land of Set, by divine Rights, because he was Wise. Set refused, as he would not be once more the warrior protector of the King, and such was exiled once more. But, by the power of the Desert he had made his, he sweared he would come back. And he came back: With armies of men, and the Magic of the Desert. And the Lands suffered from the War.
Osiris was horrified. Something was wrong, as he was breaching Maat even as he sweared to upheld her. He believed to have tricked ther Stranger, but in truth, the Stranger had its revenge, cursing him with such passion evil was inhabiting his heart! So he remained alone, while his armies suffered defeat, thinking...
Set's Hollow Revenge:
But if Osiris was Wise, Set was cunning, and searched to end the conflict. So, spies helping him enter the Palace of Osiris, he built a coffin of wood and iron, of gold and jewels with such dimensions only Osiris could lay in it. Osiris, looking the coffin with pleasure, accepted the challenge, and was pleased when he saw he fitted there exactly.
And so, Osiris was made prisonner in the magical coffin, and Set, in irony of his own exile, exiled Osiris to the waters of the Nile.
Now, it was the time for Set to think. Alone, for he had exiled Isis and Nephtys. He had seen such horror, but still believed in Maat. While his passion already influenced his heart when alive, it was for justice. Now, he wondered if, behind his claims for the right to rule, and for justice, it wasn't simple anger and hate.
Isis and Nephtys went to the Delta, searching for the body of Osiris. Each new of the potential evil of Osiris and Set, and each believed that Osiris would find a solution. But Osiris' body seemed dead, and could not be awakened, so Nephtys and Isis used once more mighty magick. And Osiris came back from the dead. Already, his son, Horus, named after the wise Horus the Elder, directed armies at Set's Palace.
Osiris arrived too late, for Horus, defeated by Set's might, was deadly wounded, his eye hurt. And in rightful anger, Osiris fought the surprised Set with all his anger, and with the power of Life of Isis, and the power of Death of Nephtys, Set was defeated.
Then, Osiris understood that even his rightful anger was but a screen to hide his evil Sekhmet. And because he had come from the Dead, and seen Maat here, he knew his soul was in peril, as Ra's had been in the past.
In the Land of the Dead, he told his brother, Souls of the creations of our Great-Grand Father are alone, without guidance, searching for his healing light, shining when night comes to the Land of the Living. Osiris had found peace in the Land of the Dead, and he felt his Sekhmet stirring within his breast when in the Land of the Living. So Osiris and Set agreed to a new Pact, the Pact of Maat.
Osiris would rule the Land of the Dead, to guide them to Transcendance, and Set would learn the way of Maat, and protect the Land of the Living from Apep. New Gods would be created, from mortals with divine potential, by mixing Osiris and Set's divine Blood enhanced by Vampiric Potence. They would lead the Mortals to Maat, thus enabling them to join the Dead in Peace and Power, and avoid the Oblivion.
It was the moment Isis and Nephtys chose to speak: It wasn't only their beast, or Apep that had led to this massacre: Like all men, they were persons of war. Yes, even Osiris, who was believed to be a sage, made his greatest mistake by learning the power over Darkness, who had led to his corruption, without even asking the advice of his wife or her sister, who were accomplished magician. Such ignorance and such arrogance were proof of Osiris and Set innate inbalance, even before they joined the Darkness. The two women added their own allegiance to the Pact, for if it meant balance, so men and women were to be equally listened to. Without the power of the Godesses, nothing could be accomplished, and never again they would keep the silence for their silence was as much guilty as Set and Osiris actions.
Set, Osiris, Isis and Nephtys then agreed to the Pact, and Set destroyed Osiris body, cutting it to pieces. Then, Isis and Nephtys used their powers over Life and Death, and tied Osiris to the Land of the Living, and to the Land of the Dead, so he could be king of the Land of the Dead. Then the flesh of Osiris was sent to all the corners of the Land of the Living, and buried, to tie the God of the Dead to it.
Uræus, Gods of Egypt:
The first God was Horus, who had came back through Isis and Nepthys' Magick. Horus would be the King of the Land. The Second was Khentamentiu, who would be known as Khetamon, and would research for the secrets and powers of Maat. The third and fourth were Wadjet and Nekhbet, for their loyatly and compassion made them the Godesses of Royalty, each for one of the Lands of the Living: Wadjet for the Lower Land, and Nekhbet for the Higher Land. The Fifth was Bastet, who would summon the Shapeshifters to her side to further Maat. The Sixth was Sechat, who, with the death of Isis and Nephtys, would bring Magick to the Land of the Living, to protect it from enemies from beyond. The Seventh was never created, but still destiny tells of it.
Each was chosen among the mortals, because, despite their ignorance, each had deep in its soul, the power of Gods. And when other Vampires would come to Egypt, the Gods would never call themselves kin to them, for they were not mortals given the power over Darkness, but Gods who wrestled it from the Darkness, and used it for Maat...
Despite the claims of the Childer of Caine, we were not of them. Despite the claims of the Followers of Lillith, we do claim no blood ties to her, nor to Adam, nor to their jealous God. We are Gods created from the Magic of Ra and the Blood cursed by Yaveh and Lillith, and sanctified by the Pact of Maat between Osiris and Set.

OSIRIS & SET
The Justice of Ra
The Judgement was almost a parody, as Ra conjured his grand-children to see him, and to learn loyalty. Even if Thot was a great magician, Ra was now well beyond him, and the Tjaty was tranformed into an Ibis, never to win back his form, intelligence of magickal power. Tefnut soon followed, as she was torn appart by the enormous forces of Ra's magickal power, and her flesh disseminated to the wind and eaten by the vultures. Geb was the last, and Ra buried him under tons of rock and earth. His Great-Grand-Children never knew this, believing the Gods had chosen to abandon their mortal forms to become one with the Primordial Elements. But Horus the Elder discovered the Truth, and confronted Ra. Ra transformed Horus into a Falcon, exiled him to the skies. After this demonstration of power, no one even thought about vengeance: The power of Ra was not even conceivable! So Osiris, Isis and Nephtys bowed their head in servitude. To die now would not lighten the burden of the people of the Land. Ra then declared that he had sacrified the soul of those betrayers to the primordial elements of Earth, Sky and Magic, to insure his health they had tried to damage.
Still, one of them would not accept this: Set, coming back in hurry from an expedition and letting his army behind, just arrived to see the blood in the court of judgement, and the ashamed faces of his brothers and sisters. Unlike the calm Osiris, his passion couldn't be contained. He took his bronze sword, and attacked Ra with so much rage he almost succeeded in reaching within 10 paces of his grand-father before being paralysed by his magick.
''Unlike your brother ands sisters, you're unwise. So like your mother and father, you will die... By the hand of your own brother''
Osiris was horrified. He couldn't kill his own beloved brother by his own hand! In the same moment he raised the sword of his brother, Osiris looked at his grand-father: Why, he asked, kill his grand-son while he could well sacrifice him to the desert. By doing such, he would win mastery over the power of the desert and the desert storms, as he already had won the power of life, fire, earth, sky and magic. Ra agreed. The power of the desert was mighty, and he longed to possess it. So Set was weakened by Ra's Magic so the sun would burn him even more, and exiled in the middle of the desert, alone, with but his bronze sword, and water, which would help him survive longer, and so, suffer longer the effects of the desert and be a suitable sacrifice. Osiris secretely hoped the passion of Set would enable him to survive even the desert's power.
After this, Ra became more and more obsessed. His remaining children were lawful (Osiris and Isis) or depressed beyond recovering (Nephtys). It was Isis who found the idea to weaken her grand-father. As time was continuing, Ra was grewing darker and darker, and frost touched the world. Even the Land was colder. Ra's light was failing, and Isis gave him the solution: He couldn't sustain himself, and the sun was dying was he was. His magic was powerless. Isis emitted the idea that perhaps what one magician couldn't do, two could in such a way Ra never believed she was talking about herself. Ra was tempted, but didn't trust the other court magicians enough to ask their help. Thot's example was enough. No. Only Osiris, who had taken Thot's position of Tjaty, and Isis seemed to merit his trust. So he admitted her in his own temple: They would use the faith of the people of Egypt, concentrated by the Benben stone (short and large Obelisk-like stone) by the power of Ra and Isis, to give back to Ra his power.
He secretly thought, as Isis believed he would in his wicked heart, that another magician, even a godly-like, casting the Ritual would be the victim of its life-draining power, and would die in his stead. Thus, he hoped, instead of winning some measure of power over one element, that he would simply absorb her godly soul, and thus rejuvenate his own. So he used his Ritual to Awaken Isis. The wife of Osiris entered the labyrinth with dread and hope. The trials she had to succeed nearly destroyed her mind, but in the end, her Avatar, taking the form of Thot, her own master, now one with the Magic, taught her about Ra-Hekau.
Ra hoped Isis would be duped in casting the Ritual. She only barely participed, and Ra cast the spell almost alone. Without the active help of Isis, his body died and the powers he had taken from Thot, Shu, Tefnut, Geb, Nut and Set were taken back from him. When his mummified body was burnt, the last hold Apep had over Ra dissipated, and the Sun once more gave freely his life-giving light.
The Age of Osiris
As the water receded, as the sun had heated the ice from the mountains, Osiris and Isis, then, became the new masters of the Land, ruling over the Delta, whose repsonsability was given to him by Ra, and over the Higher Land, whose responsibility had been given to Set. They tried to learn from the example of their great-grand-father. Osiris was a just god, ruling his subject with compassion. Isis became his Tjaty, using her magick to help him.
Then came the stranger. His powers were such they reminded Osiris of his grand-father. But his words were wise: Other lands lay beyond Osiris' Land, worshipping other Gods. And mighty creatures would come, bringing with them war, destruction and death. Osiris was horrified. Despite what he believed, his power was nothing in front of the stranger's: He was a sage, not a warrior, as had been Set, and not a magician as were Isis and Nephtys. There was a way, Nephtys told him, to win this power, and with it, the power of death and darkness. The Death-Magician told her he could win power from it, and so, become stronger enough to protect the Land, but there was a Price, and Osiris would sacrifice his daylight hours, and forever live in the darkness. Nephtys told him the stranger would perhaps give him the choice, and she told him to refuse: If Osiris never showed goldy powers, it was because it wasn't the right time. Osiris would only bring destruction and war to his Land. Osiris dismissed her. He feared for the Land, and while she was a Godess of great powers, Nephtys was but a woman. Osiris never understood that he was victim of the same mistake that hit is grand-father: There were other powers, and only by gathering greater power, he would win. So he accepted, and was Embraced by a Vampire, who disappeared in the night.
While Isis studied powers over life, Nephtys studied those of death, and Osiris' power grew. It was said he mastered mighty magicks that enabled him to bring rain and fertility to the Land. Isis was saddened by the transformation of Osiris, who now, troubled by what he had learned about the stranger, spent many nights alone, never saw the sun, and started to build an army of his own Childer.
The Return of Set
Then Set came back. Back from the south, uniting the armies that were once loyal to him. He had learned of the death of Ra, and how the brother who had sacrified him to the desert had taken the control of both his Delta, but also the Higher Land. He marched to the Delta.
He easily reached the palace of Osiris, as the God-king gathered his armies around him. Horrified, Osiris discovered the stranger had told the truth: Gods would come and bring war. What he wasn't prepared for, was the fact thet the Gods would come back as his own brother, the brother he loved so much. His power was mighty indeed, as instead of giving the power of the desert to Ra, he took it for himself.
Before Set could start the battle, Osiris asked for time, and explained his actions, and how Ra had been vanquished, and how Ra was now once more whole and pure. Set agreed over his brother's wisdom, and the two brothers made peace: The Land was divided in two: The Delta for Osiris, who held power over fertility, and the Higher Land to Set, who could use the power of the Desert.
At first, the two Gods rejoiced, and peace remained. But soon, their Beast, their Sekhmet, claimed its price of Blood. Set became more violent, as his passion reached unprecedented heights. And Osiris became colder, as he slowly lost compassion to cruel intelligence. Set simply destroyed a fortress where rebels had taken refuge, by ordering the desert to cover it with sand. Osiris claimed Set could have resolved the situation by diplomacy, and so, commanded him to handle him the crown of the Higher Land, and simply follow his orders as his First General. But if Osiris was intelligent, Set was now cunning.
Set accepted, but sweared revenge. He now sincerely believed Osiris had exiled him to remove him his rights to his Land. So he intrigued against his brother, and the result was a magnificient sarcophagus, of wood and jewelery. Osiris and his court were shown the wooden coffin, and it was said the one who would have its exact dimensions would keep it. Almost everyone tried it, to no avail. When Osiris laid on it, Set appeared, and sealed shut the magickal coffin, who was stronger than metal and stone.
''You exiled me in the desert, with the serpents and the scorpions, said Set, and I survived. For the crime you committed by joining our Grand-Father's crime, I exile you to the waters with fishes and crocodiles! ''
The Childer of Set attacked the Childer of Osiris, and soon, the last were dead or fleeing. Osiris was then sent to the Nile, where he entered a state so near of death nothing could awake him before his body be eaten by the Nile's animals. Isis pregnant, and Nephtys helping her, he exiled them from the palace, and sat on his trone, pondering. Revenge which had promised to taste so sweet was now like ashes in his mouth. He realized that while his passion was his power, his passion threatened to overwhelm his conscience. It was Nekhbet, working as a servant in the Palace, who explained it all to Set.
Set, upon learning his brother always had hoped he would survive, admitted his mistake. He sent his best scouts to find Isis and Nephtys and hoping he would find Osiris unalive. His anger cooled down, he longed to take his beloved Nephtys in his arms, and to make peace with Osiris, ruling the Land as the brothers they should always have been.
They were found, and soon Set came with his army and found the growing army of a mortal claiming to be Horus. Horus was dead, and Set was angered by the arrogance of a mortal calling himself after the Judge-God. Young Horus were taught the history of his father and uncle, and soon decided Set was to be destroyed. And Horus was no ordinary mortal, and soon he attacked his uncle. Set understood too late who was Horus, but outraged by the assault, gave it once more to his anger, and threw Horus in the air. This started the war once more.
When Set recognized the body of his nephew, his eye out of his socket, his frenzy subdued... But the rage of Osiris knew no bounds. Guilt preventing him to call over his passion, Set was no match for his elder brother, and the magic of Isis and Nephtys.
The the sounds of the weapons hushed down, only Set, Osiris, Isis and Nephtys, and a few mortals were still alive. Isis was crying over the body of her dying son, and Nephtys couldn't believe the young man she had loved could do so much evil. Osiris was standing over the body of his brother, apparently deeply hurt.
The Sacrifice of Osiris
But he was interrupted by an outraged voice.
''Fools! Fools all of you! Your arrogance and your inability to see around you lead the two of you to this situation!''
Osiris and Set were surprised: Isis had spoken these words of justified anger. Behind her, Nephtys continued.
''You two sold your Godly souls to feed your ambition. Set, you accepted your powers because you believed you could use it to win over your corrupted Great-Grand-Father where you believed your warrior skills had failed you. And you, Osiris, you accepted your powers because you believed to could use them to protect you people, where you believed your intelligence would fail you.''
Osiris, in shame, walked one pace behind. Set could only listen, the same shame hurting his darkened soul.
''Each time we could have councelled you against your own stupidity, you dismissed us because our lack of physical power. But who destroyed Ra? Who knows the power over Life and Death? If only you had to pay for your child-like behaviour, then we would let you. But you are Gods. We are Gods whose mission is to protect our people. And you lead them to war and destruction when you should have led them to enlightment.''
Isis and Nephtys looked at their husband, and Osiris and Set looked at each other. After minutes of silence, Osiris talked.
''In death, I've found peace, and only by Isis and Nephtys' powers I was called back from Duat, were, after the Seven Doors, and the Seven Pylons, the soul guided by jackal-headed Anubis presents itself before Maat, who choses between the souls who, devored by Amenuit, will join Oblivion, and those who will join the Fields of Ialu. I have found the Wyrm, Apep, and found he corrupted the very souls of those who died. By coming back, I found still his corruption all around me.''
''I don't understand, brother...''
''You're now a man of passion, a passion who could well destroy everything, including your immortal soul. Should I kill you now, you would join Apep in his war for destruction. There is a land beyond this one. The Land of the Dead where Ra shines in the sky when night covers this one. A land where our dead need guidance to find peace. One of us must join them, and because of your own weakness, you can't. I have found my path: I am not the God of Wisdom, for I failed to show wisdom. I am the God of my people, and so, I must protect them, even in Death. Take this sword, and destroy my immortal body. By placing every bit of my flesh in every part of the Land, we will insure our people will join me in Death. There, in Duat, I will rule as the King of our people, to guide them through their transcendance. Here, the Land will need your protection and your power, for the living must never forget the dead. For this you will build monuments that will last longer than time.''
''I can't kill you, my brother. For all the passion, for all the power of the desert that feed my cursed blood, I can't kill you.''
''You know the curse that run through our veins. Isis and Nephtys are right. While I believe following Maat can help us, I can't bear it as you can. Your passion led you to evil, but I can't claim passion to excuse my own cruetly. I can't claim anger or justice to excuse my egoism. By killing my mortal form, you give me peace. By honoring my name, you give me more than immortality in the Land of Duat, you give me power over Death. We must forge an Alliance now, The Pact of Maat, for my son is dying, and I fear for his soul, and for the Land is dying, and I fear for the soul of its People. Swear that you will never create Childer, as I will never do it. The only Childer you will create will be our Childer, from your Vitae and my own. The Only Childer we'll create will be Gods' souls who, as we have, took a physical avatar. These Childer, and their Childer, by the power of our sekhem, of our blood and of our godly origin, combined in sacrifice and love, will become the Gods of Egypt, and follow Maat in everything. Of the Balance of our influence, we will find the Balance for the Two-Lands. The Lower and Higher Land. The Land of Osiris and Set. The Land of the Living, and the Land of the Dead. Should this alliance, the Pact of Maat, be broken, Maat would be threatened, and our people, and ourselves would suffer the unstoppable might of Apep.''
Osiris then turned to Isis and Nephtys.
''Each of you showed more that we two did. We must learn from your example, and judge a person by his soul, and not his appearance. Let it be decided Pharao rules Egypt, through its King, protected by Horus, and through its Queen, protected by Neith.''
''Now, my Brother, you must kill me...''
And set obeyed. After keeping enough Vitae for Seven Childer, Isis and Nephtys, crying, used their magick to give to Osiris' soul part of the power of his body, Set took his sword, and removed Osiris' head. Such was his anger at the pain he felt for hurting his brother, he cut Osiris' flesh into tiny parts, and sent his surviving men to bury them all over the Two Lands, the Lands of Set and Osiris. Then, knowing he could do nothing to help, he let behind him Isis and Nephtys, hoping Osiris spoke the truth.
The Age of Horus
Horus was brought back from the dead. Nephtys sent Set the news about her research. Osiris has indeed contacted her, and had asked for Set to Embrace Khentameniu, for the philosopher have been of a great help to help Osiris with the burden of his blood-crazed Beast, and because he had the spark of divinity burning in his breast. Khentameniu was to create a Bloodline of Philosophers. Set indeed drunk all the blood of the willing Kenthameniu, and gave him his Blood and Osiris' combined by the magic of Isis and Nephtys.
But soon after, by the power of Isis, Osiris and Nephtys, Horus was saved, through he had lost one eye in the battle. The Ritual had made him immortal. And while at first Horus wanted nothing else than destroy Evil Set, Osiris appeared to his son, giving him the mission to found an order or Mummies who would help the Two-Lands to follow Maat. He himself would be the shadow of the mortal King of Egypt, and would guide him with the wisdom he was to acquire. He would chose a woman who would protect the mortal Queen of Egypt. Reluctantly, Horus agreed, and asked for a warrior-woman, Neith, to join him in Immortality. To keep the Balance, Set was to Embrace two Childer. He choose two twins: Nekhbet and Wadjet, who were given the mission to protect the mortal King of the Two-Lands, as well as the Two-Lands themselves.
With time, Horus died, as did Neith. Isis and Nephtys joined Osiris in Duat, helping him against Apep. Set entered torpor, as did Nekhbet and Wadjet. Khentameniu remained, searching for Maat in his Undead state. Centuries would pass before the people forget the bath of blood, and under the command of a strong leader, united once more.
The Age of Pharaos
There they came. Under the rule of King Scorpio, and then King Narmer, the Two-Lands, divided since centuries, once again became one, under the rule of the first official pharao: Aha (''The Warrior'') and his wife Neith-Hotep (Neith is in Peace).
Under the protection and the guidance of Horus and Neith, Nekhbet and Wadjet, and the mighty God Set, and of the other immortal Gods, the Two-Lands were born...

THE JAR OF DIVINE BROTHERHOOD:
Mythos:
This magickal Jar was enchanted by Isis and Nephtys to keep the combined Vitae of Set and Osiris. There was enough Vitae to ''Embrace'' seven Childer, and only six were created.
Its magick is believed to have enhanced the power of the Jar: Anyone, anything drinking it will become a Fourth Generation Vampire (Caitiff, in rule terms), no matter the origin (Garou, Mage, Mummy, Wraith, Changeling and even Vampire of weaker generation). Furthermore, any magickal mind hold will be broken, be it Vinculum, Blood Bond, Dominate, Presence, and any similar effect (including Derangements from Dementation, effects of Magickal Spheres, Arcanoi, Gifts, Rituals, etc.)

THE URÆUS:
WEAPON OF GODS
Mythos:
The weapon used by Set to fight Apep? The weapon used by Isis to wound Ra?
Believed to be a Discipline, a magickal weapon, a magickal martial art, or everything between. The Uræus is described here.

AKHET-PNETER: City of Gods
Mythos:
Most World or Darkness archeological research pinpoint to a mysterious proto-Egypt, where the creatures known laters as the Gods of Egypt were but mortal rulers who left their fame after their death.
The truth is different: The Nile changed its course over the years, and as the temperature of earth was increasing the land which was fertile started to dry, and would become one day the Sahara desert. Once, West of actual Egypt, the First Empire, the Empire of Gods, along the Nile, was among the first civilizations ruled by Gods which could, by then, come there in their true form. There, Ra ruled, from his pyramid-like palace in the center of Akhet-Pneter, the Horizon of the Gods, or more commonly called the City of Gods.
