Background:
Nekhbet was the twin sister of Wadjet. The twins were young women living in a small village by the Nile, in Middle Egypt. This was a time of dread, as Gods walked the Lands, and were warring each other. Osiris was King of Egypt, Isis was Queen, and Set was First General, protecting the Land from the forces from beyond.
Nekhbet compassion and sense of mercy equaled Wadjet sense of Justice and courage, and the two debated about the meaning of Justice and Humanity, and the two were saddened to hear the chief had chosen Nekhbet to go to the capital, to serve Osiris for one year.
When Nekhbet reached Osiris' palace, her compassion and loyalty soon made her one of Nephtys' confidant. The children of Ra weren't common mortals, and in their blood ran the power of Ra-Hekau. They had outlived most of the people who had seen them as children, and they were still young. But the king was mystery. Said to control magic able to raise the Nile, he was never seen by day, and always brooding at night. His wife, Isis, a great magician, was pregnant, and so Osiris had to find sustenance elsewhere. Nephtys' depression increasing, he decided to feed from lawful followers, and Nekhbet was chosen.
Nekhbet talked a lot with Osiris in those nights, and learned a lot from the wise man. She learnt, too, of his treason against Set, and how he had hoped his beloved brother would survive. Now, Set was said to be a powerful God, and the two brothers saw the coming treason that would once separate them.
Nephtys was learning Ra-Hekau with the help of her sister, but everyone feared she had lost her sanity as she studied more and more death magic. The return of Set only made her more and more unstable. Nekhbet helped Nephtys and was the willing chalice of Osiris until the coming of Set.
To her surprise, Wadjet was among Set's army. Nekhbet learnt about the corruption of the chief of his village, and how Wadjet followed Set to spare the villagers. But Set had other plans... A feast was organized, a coffin was presented, and Osiris won the right to keep it, if its dimensions was his. But Magic was used, and Osiris was incapacited as soon as he laid on the sarcophagus. Then Set put the casket of Osiris on the Nile, explaining all the while he had been betrayed, and all this was simple justice. Wadjet asked him the right to follow the exiled Isis and Nephtys. Set agreed, and so Wadjet disappeared in the night. Set, broken by saddness and horror, but still with anger within his heart, simply visited the palace, to find a suitable place where to sleep until the end of times.
He found Nekhbet. He was so surprised with the encounter he made her his personnal servant. Soon after, Set decided to see if Nekhbet had the same, strong mind of her sister. He found that Nekhbet had not the same fire fueling her fight for justice, but instead has a strong philosophical culture. It was then she decided to tell him the history of Osiris, and how he had tried to save Set by exiling him. Set was torn by doubt, it is was a possibility he couldn't dismiss...
Set went to search for Isis and Osiris.
Sooner that he tought it possible, Horus, Osiris' son, had grown up, and was raising an army had come back, with his army of Childer, lead by him and his young son, While Set secretly hoped for peace, something told him it was wrong. And it was! Horus surprised everyone by putting his sword through Set's body. Instincts took over and Set pushed the young man from him. His strenght was such the young man was mortally hurt, an eye out of his socket.
Then everything went wrong, and war erupted, as Isis used her pain and hatred for the killer of her son to fuel her magick.
The fight ended with the death of every God but Set and Osiris. Set was down, threatened by Osiris. But instead of killing his brother, Osiris gave his own life for Egypt, trusting his brother to protect the Land of the Living while he would protect the land of the Dead. Set accepted, and after mixing their Vitae in a jar, removed Osiris' head and cut his body to bits. Osiris was dead, and Set was crying with tears of Blood.
Soon after the twins were proposed to join the Gods, and to protect Egypt. They eagerly accepted the honor to serve Set and Osiris.
Horus was angered by the Pact of Maat, but accepted it, as his own father asked him to promise he would upheld it. Still, his anger hurt Wadjet, who had become more than a friend to him. Instead, he turned away and left with a warrior-woman called Neith.
Wadjet and Nekhbet pledged to unite their forces to build peace in the Two Lands, Wadjet going to the Lower Egypt, and Nekhbet to Higher Egypt. Then the two went to Torpor.
They only awakened many centuries later. When Wadjet, coming out from the Delta, met with Nekhbet, coming from the desert, the two had learnt more about their powers. Nekhbet had found kinship with desert birds of prey, while Wadjet has now developped her own powers over serpents.
When the Narmer, from Higher Egypt conquered the Delta and unified the Two Lands, the two Godesses appeared to the King. Each one claimed to be the Godess of Royalty of one of the Two Lands, and they shared their vision with the King. The King soon took them as protectors of Royalty, and claimed to be the union between Horus and Set. With Wadjet, the King then created the Pharao institution, where the King and Queen of the Two-Lands would rule together for the good of the people of Egypt.
But the Crocodile Shapeshifters of the Fayoum threatened this peace. The two Godesses were joined by the Nerhib-Pehrt, from the City of Bubastis and their Goodess, Bastet, also a Childe of Set, visibly Embraced while the twins were in Torpor. While the First Dynasty grew in power, so did the Msoh-Sobek.
Destiny
Wadjet will become the Founder of the Bal-Noure Bloodline, who will, with the Ouro-Sen, protect Pharao from the enemies of Egypt.

| Date of Birth: | ~5000 BC | Race: | Egyptian | Sex: | Female |
| RIP: | ~5000 BC | Nationality: | Egyptian | Symbol | Vulture |
Like most Egyptian people, Nekhbet has dark hair worn long and finely braided. Her bronzed skin is now paler, and her eyes are as dark as night. She normally wears the vulture-like headdress that will become common for the Queens of Egypt and as a loin-cloth. Her torso is nude, breasts covered by her vulture-like golden and jewelered collar. Nekhbet is a beautiful woman with a somewhat androgyn look.
Her only jewelery is her gold collar and bracelets, and she use typical Egyptian make-up (khol around the eyes, etc.). She wears rounded sun-like ear-rings.
Role Playing:
Unlike her sister, Nekhbet is more calm, and seems more lazy. Like her Sire, she lived in the Desert, and learned there to economize her energy, and work slowly toward her goals. She believes that slow changes are easier to do, and more difficult to stop. She likes strategy games.
Notes:
Nekhbet is the second surviving Childe of Set, and she masters her Discipline enough to think about creating her Bloodline to help her maintain peace through diplomacy. Her symbol, the Vulture, will become one of the symbol of Egypt royalty.
She has no love lost for Horus, and still wonder how this man can have won her sister's love with his potential for hatred and unending thrist for revenge.
Actual Aim:
To find a suitable Childe. To find the Childer of Osiris and talk to them about Nephtys' claims.
