RELICS & ARTIFACTS
Egypt was a land of Legends and Magic. It can seem surprising, then, to see so little magical artifacts described in legends. One reason is that the Artifacts were, for the greatest part, destroyed (and founds as relics in the Duat, the Land of the Dead!). But the real reason is that Mortals had not access to those relics, which were kept in the most secrets parts of the Temples, and were either destroyed by Christian missionaries, stolen by invaders, or simply lost altogether.
The Uræus
Often tied to Wadjet, the Uræus was in truth the weapon the gods of Egypt used to fight Apep. Horus the Elder, Set, Wadjet and even Ra himself were known to have wielded the mighty weapon against the incarnation of Oblivion, but no one really described the weapon
System:
The Uræus is, in truth, a Discipline.
The Jar of Divine Brotherhood
When Osiris and Set decided to seal their Pact, they mingled their potent Vitae, which was kept in a special jar created and enchanted by Isis and Nephtys. Anyone drinking from the Jar would find it almost empty but some traces of Antediluvian Blood. This is enough to cure almost any desease, heal most damage (all non-aggravated or Aggravated Damage) and even change the desert sand into fertile earth. Of course this is enough to create an almost unbreakable double Blood Bond to Set and Osiris.
The Jar was at first a common one, but some Ka spirits became attached to it, developping a cult-like sect of adoring Wraiths, which protect it from harm, and slowly mold in into a form they believe to be more appropriate for such artifact. Lately, the jar was described as a lapi-lazuli jeweled golden cup with rubi carved hieroglyphs. The Wraiths protecting the Jar were drown from the most powerful and pure Egyptian heroes, who always followed Maat in their life, and continued to protect their Land even in their death. As such, few creatures would be able to violate this Artifact.
System:
Should a mortal be drained of all his blood, and given the
Jar to drink, three solution arises. First, the mortal is
judged unworthy: He dies, or is even actively attacked by
the Jar's protectors. Second the mortal follows Maat with
enough sincerity, and he becomes a Ghoul (Consider him and
part of his children as Revenants). Third, the mortal is
recognized as an Avatar of a God. He becames a 4th Generation
Vampire, with three Clan Disciplines: Obfuscate, Presence and
a third. this last Discipline must be created (see
Lda's WoD's Caitiff & Rules).
The Vampire will then be able to Sire Childer with these three
Clan Discipline.
Note that any supernatural can be affected by the power of the Jar, but the results can be surprising. It is theorized that a worthy Vampire would increase his Generation up to the 4th, that a Mage/Sorcerer/mortal could become truely immortal (see the Merit Immortal in World of Darkness: Sorcerer), etc..
The night of Cleopatra's suicide, the Jar has already created 6 Founders, and in it only remains enough Vitae for one more...
Celestial Metal
This metal was taken from meteorits which fell on the Two Lands. For an unknown reason, this metal could be forged into a magickal silvery alloy which made lethal any weapon made in such material. The Uræus is supposed to have been forged from the metal of the purest meteorit which ever fell on Egypt's sand (and it is said this meteorit still subsists...).
System:
Any weapon created with this material does Aggravated Damage to
all creatures, and is almost unbreakable.
