Background:
Wadjet was a young woman living in a small village by the Nile, in Middle Egypt, with her twin, Nekhbet. This was a time of dread, as Gods walked the Lands, and were warring each other. Osiris was King of Egypt, Isis was Queen, and Set was First General, protecting the Land from the forces from beyond.
Nekhbet compassion and sense of mercy equaled Wadjet sense of Justice and courage, and the two debated about the meaning of Justice and Humanity, and the two were saddened to hear the chief had chosen Nekhbet to go to the capital, to serve Osiris for one year. In truth, the chief had kept part of the taxes he owed to Pharao, and, he feared retaliation.
In the meantime, the forces of Set reached the village. No one wanted to fight the army of a God, and the small milice dropped to the ground asking for mercy. Wadjet, outraged by this demonstration of cowards, took up one mace, and ran for Set. The Antediluvian, looking for these mortals with anger, was surprised to see one female alone, taking a weapon and running to him. With but a gesture, he commanded to his forces to let her pass, and soon, she reached him.
Now she realized the extend of her mistake: Set was the greatest man she had ever seen. His eyes were gleaming with red light, and his long hair was floating in the desert wind who seemed to protect the God whose anger seemed as solid as stone. Set's Majesty was too much, and she dropped to the ground, tears of fury running at her own fear, looking down in shame. But she held her mace in her hand, and despite Set's power, she looked up.
''You're a young woman, and despite your weakness, you're the
only one taking up the arms against me...''. Set's voice was
powerful, but there was an edge of saddeness in his voice...
''Women have more courage than most men!'' She said, trying to
control her shaking voice. ''Only men's lack of vision and superior
physical strenght make them believe otherwise!''
''You claim to have vision, but only see foolishness: You want to
kill me with that weapon when every other villager understood it
was impossible. You and your People used Pharao's resources when
it came to ask help, but you gave almost nothing in return... Yet
I see you're one of the richest of the valley...'' Set took the
weapon in his right hand and it crumbled under the pressure.
Wadjet only had time to realize it when his other hand took
her by her neck.
''Cowards all'', she whispered, shoking. Set keeped the pressure.
''They lack the courage to fight for their own principles, and to
die for them... Better to die fighting for justice than living
as slaves!''.
Set's eyes lost the red light of anger and hatred.
''I, too, want justice... I hate the corrupters and parasites who
feed at the Land's expenses without giving anything in return...
I should destroy this village down to the very last baby...
Would you give up your mortality to save your village and to
have the power to fight for Justice?''
Wadjet accepted, but wasn't Embraced, and soon joined Set's Army, learning of his history and his claim for revenge. Slowly, she pushed against Set's own supernatural hatred and fury to touch his soul with her words.
But they reached Osiris' palace too soon, and soon, the Anger appeared once more, fueled by the fact Osiris was like them, a God. Wadjet would have tried to stop the intrigue, but she was nothing compared to the two powerful vampires.
Wadjet saw Set put the body of Osiris in a wooden casket, and despite the tears of Isis and Nephtys, throw it to the Nile. But, instead of calming down, the cries of Osiris' wife and his own promised only fueled the anger, and he banished them from his sight. Wadjet then told him she would join them in exile. Set almost destroyed her, but he asked her why. She only told him she was doing it for Justice.
Wadjet joined the two women and Isis' child, Horus. Nephtys was now the shadow of the beauty she should have been, because of her mourning, and then the sadness of seeing her beloved coming back from the dead with such anger he didn't even remembered her, and killed his own brother.
Wadjet explained them she had talked with Nekhbet, and knew what had happened. With her help, they would find Osiris' body and wake him from Torpor. It took them years, hidden in the Delta, to find it. The casket, broken and underwater, had let the body in such condition it would take Osiris centuries before awakening, if he would awaken at all! Using mighty rituals and the Vitae of his own Childer, Osiris was awakened, but too late. Despite his growing affection for Wadjet, and Osiris' last words of forgiveness, Horus had grown up in hatred, and his hatred for his uncle knew no bounds. It was when Set arrived that everything went horribly wrong.
Horus' became restless, seeing betraying everywhere. Still, Osiris' Childer were greater in numbers, and older. And then, the same energy that had fueled Osiris vision of Maat, that had enabled Isis find Awakening and had enabled Set to survive the desert's fiery heat, fueled Horus' own anger. How this horrible thing of a man would have hurt his own brother. How could he claim now rulership over the Lands that were Osiris' own by legacy. And the two were talking of forgiveness as if nothing had happened?
Horus surprised every one and striked Set in the belly. Set's reflex was to strike this outraging out of his sight, and Horus flew over and hit stone with his head. He fell to the ground, deadly hurt as his eye had been cast out from his socket. Isis' answer was as fast, and used her magic to kill Set. Despite her power, she was no match for the Antediluvian who, submerged by Frenzy, striked Wadjet who tried to calm him.
When Wadjet awakened, Osiris' body was decaying, Horus was dying in a pool of his own blood, and Set was crying over the body of his brother cut to shreds of flesh. Only Nekhbet, her own twin sister, have been, along with Isis and Nephtys, witness of the Pact of Maat.
Wadjet and Nekhbet were now alone with Set. Back to the Palace, Khentamentiu went to them, and told them he believed he had seen in each of them the spark of divinity. Set wanted them Embraced as part of the Pact, to join the gods in their mission to guide the Land. Their mission would be to protect the Two-Lands, and particularily the King that would guide his people to Maat.
To Horus' anger, Osiris confirmed the Pact of Maat. His affection for Wadjet was now replaced by a coldness that hurt her for the centuries to come. Without a word, he turned his love for a warrior-woman called Neith. Wadjet joined her sister, and the two pledged to unite their forces to build a peace in the Two Lands, Wadjet going to the Lower Egypt, and Nekhbet to Higher Egypt. Then the two went to Torpor.
They only awakened many centuries later. When Wadjet, coming out from the Delta, met with Nekhbet, coming from the desert, the two had learnt more about their powers. Nekhbet had found kinship with desert birds of prey, while Wadjet has now developped her own powers over serpents.
When Narmer, from Higher Egypt conquered the Delta and unified the Two Lands, the two Godesses appeared to the King. Each one claimed to be the Godess of Royalty of one of the Two Lands, and they shared their vision with the King. The King soon took them as protectors of Royalty, and claimed to be the union between Horus and Set. With Wadjet, the King then created the Pharao institution, where the King and Queen of the Two-Lands would rule together for the good of the people of Egypt.
But the Crocodile Shapeshifters of the Fayoum threatened this peace. The two Godesses were joined by the Nerhib-Pehrt, from the City of Bubastis and their Goodess, Bastet, also a Childe of Set, visibly Embraced while the twins were in Torpor. While the First Dynasty grew in power, so did the Msoh-Sobek.
Destiny
Wadjet will become the Founder of the Ouro-Sen Bloodline, who will, with the Bal-Noure, protect Pharao from the enemies of Egypt.

|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Apparent Age: | ~25 | Eyes: | Black | Weight: | 53 Kg |
| Date of Birth: | ~5000 BC | Race: | Egyptian | Sex: | Female |

Like most Egyptian people, Wadjet has dark hair worn long finely and braided. Her bronzed skin is now paler, and her eyes are as dark as night. She normally wears the serpent-like headgear that will become common for the Pharao and the army, as well as the loin-cloth. Her torso is nude, breasts barely covered by her headgear's clothe. Wadjet is a beautiful woman with a somewhat androgyn look.
Her only jewelery is her gold necklace and bracelets, and she use typical Egyptian make-up (khol around the eyes, etc.). She wears serpent-like ear-rings.
Role Playing:
Wadjet is what could be called a ''paladin''. She took wholly the cause of Maat, and will fight for it. As such, she doesn't tolerate lies, thefts, etc.. While she loves peace, she will fight with deadly precision against anyone or anything.
She feels she is the last protection against the armies of darkness that want to corrupt her and her sisters and brothers. As such, she assume command when around other vampires.
Notes:
Wadjet is the first surviving Childe of Set, and she masters her Discipline enough to think about creating her Bloodline to help her maintain peace through military power. Her symbol, the Uræus serpent, will become one of the symbol of Egypt royalty.
While she loves Horus, his thirst for revenge frightens her and she will work to avoid any major conflict that will destroy Egypt's unity, as it was done in the past. She believes Set to have good intentions, but doesn't know how to help him control his passion.
Actual Aim:
Find a suitable Childe. Find Set.
Rumours:
None.
